AI Overviews (formerly SGE) are the AI-generated summaries that appear at the very top of Google search results for complex queries. They compile information from multiple sources to give users an immediate answer.

To be cited, your content must be highly authoritative, perfectly formatted for quick reading (using lists, tables, and concise paragraphs), and clearly demonstrate First-Hand Experience and Expertise (E-E-A-T).

While "zero-click" searches are increasing, users still click the citation links within AI Overviews to dive deeper or verify claims. Securing these citations often results in higher-quality, higher-converting traffic.

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. Google's AI specifically looks for these signals—like author bios, original research, and trusted backlinks—before it will confidently cite your content.

No agency can guarantee placement in AI Overviews, as the algorithms generate responses dynamically. However, our AIO strategies align your content precisely with the criteria Google uses to select its sources, drastically improving your chances.
